  • You’d better watch out.

Christmas was always Ada Kimball’s favorite time of year until an attack by a masked stranger left her struggling to leave her isolated cabin. Now, holiday cheer is the last thing on her mind. What’s there to be merry about when she’s stuck at home with only her nightmares to keep her company?

But she might not be as alone as she thinks. Texts, gifts, and sudden appearances of seasonal decor point to someone who won’t let Christmas go by uncelebrated. A secret santa stalker who won’t leave her alone.

He’s there, even in her twisted dreams, which reveal desires far darker than sugar plums dancing in her head. A masked monster who makes her tremble with fear, and ache for more.

Will Ada's holiday dreams come true, whether she wants them or not.... or will this holiday season turn into a nightmare?

  • If you’re familiar with our work, you might expect this to be quite cozy, and in some ways, it is. However, in this book, we didn’t even try for cozy, so our usual readers should be aware that there are some serious considerations you should make with this content.

We promise there’s an HEA, but until then there’ll be:

    • Choking

    • Consensual degradation during sex

    • Depictions of blood and violence

    • Discussion of murder of others, by a side character and by the MMC

    • Implied threat of gun violence

    • Kidnapping, not by the MMC

    • Knotting

    • Negative self-talk of both mental state and physical appearance

    • Piercing with claws

    • Religious trauma

    • Semi-manipulative familial behavior

    • Serious mental health struggles (PTSD from a mugging, general anxiety, panic attacks, agoraphobia)

    • Sexual scenarios that could be interpreted as having dubious consent (though both characters consent to the best of their ability)

    • Somnophilia

    • Spitting as a form of degradation during sex

    • Stalking

    • Threats of sexual violence

    • Using alcohol as a form of self-medication (brief historical mention, non-descriptive)

One thing we don’t want you to worry about, even for a single second, is the dog. Henry is the goodest boy forever, and so NOTHING BAD WILL EVER HAPPEN TO HIM.
